Wire nets on cracked courts with chalked-in pickleball lines. The park has a cheerful vibe, though, and if you’re not fussy you could have plenty of fun playing tennis here.
On a personal note: this is the final court on my quest to play every public court in LA County. I’m sure this quest will, in a sense, be never-ending because new courts will be built, and there are certainly some that I wasn’t aware of when I started. I’ll be glad to visit more courts if people invite me. But as of now, I have visited every court I listed when I started the quest in August of 2022, for a total of 197. I’m proud to say I traveled to most of them by public transit, and I got my last serve in. Then I went out to dinner with my wife and niece and her boyfriend and got spaghetti and meatballs to start celebrating.
