One tennis court is crisscrossed by pickleball lines but otherwise in good condition, next to four busy dedicated pickleball courts. Detailed rules for use of the hybrid court, posted below, are current as of 10/24.
The surrounding park is nice, with a cheerful tile mural depicting fun park activities, picnic tables shaded by thatched roofs or wisteria vines, and a lawn with rideable sculptures of playful seals and whales.

It was getting on lunchtime after visiting Smith Park. My antennae quivered at Chong Qing Special Noodles on Las Tunas. Sure enough, there was a vintage rave in the window from Jonathan Gold, and the namesake dish rearranged the chemical structure of my tongue in a scintillating way.
