This is a would-be hidden gem marred by pickle-ball retrofitting.
The overlapping court lines are bad. What’s worse is the heavy dark plastic sheeting erected around the corner of the court facing the pretty surrounding residential neighborhood. This is clearly an effort to mitigate the loud doink of pickleballs and perhaps even the sacred thonk of tennis balls. It is indeed a pretty neighborhood, but you would never know it from these courts, which have a cut-off-from-the-world vibe, and not in a good way.

The park appears spacious enough to support dedicated pickleball courts, but it would take significant investment to make the racquet-sport playing experience here lovely again.
