Vermont Canyon Tennis Complex, Griffith Park

These twelve unlighted courts are NOT FREE, but they are among the Top 5 courts in LA County, nestled in the hills amid oaks and sycamores in Griffith Park. Consider playing at Vermont Canyon at least once just for the beauty of it, even though you have to reserve a court and pay a nominal fee, all of which you can handle here.

Love Vermont Canyon Tennis. Spectacular setting. Occasional rattlesnake sighting near the benches, so you’re really in the thick of it all. And one time, I left my wallet on a bench near a court and a local resident found it and got it back to me. So, people are good!

Best courts in the city. If you have a coveted 4-5pm spot, book early and then play until the sunsets.

хто збирається грати в теніс до дощу

which means

Who's up to play tennis before it rains?

in Ukrainian.
