Edward Vincent Park (a/ka/ “Inglewood”)

The eight lighted courts here are a hub for tennis in a beautiful sprawling park currently undergoing construction. The tennis courts remain open and I definitely recommend visiting. I included these courts in my LA Times story about the best courts in Los Angeles for making new tennis friends. The courts are good, the vibe is fine, and there’s something about the walk down from the parking lot that always puts me into a zone of positive mentality.

  1. My name is George Moore and I have been the Capt of Court Justice USTA league tennis team which plays out of Edward Vincent Park for 4 yrs. These courts are well maintained and have accommodated all our tennis wishes! I would like to personally thank Mark Gozonsky for taking on this much needed informative piece. We were fortunate to have Mark Gozonsky play for our 2022 league championship team. At Socal USTA sectionals Mark posted a 6-0 6-0 match score! If you’re interested in playing on great courts with a great staff and even great players Edward Vincent Park is #1.
