The locals take great care of these four lighted courts in a residential neighborhood. They were out in force with leaf-blowers on a windy Sunday. You get the vibe that the regulars rule here; visiting felt like an interruption of the flow. My partner and I played a set of singles and then offered to play doubles with a couple of the waiting regulars but they passed and so did another guy and everyone was pretty terse about it. Oh well! This is all based on a Sunday morning visit, by the way — you might get better results at different times. There are lots of other public courts to play in or near Gardena — I recommend heading to Rowley or Anderson Park.
