These two well-tended, lighted courts offer another pretty place to play in what I think is the prettiest part of LA County, the North Glendale to Altadena to Sierra Madre corridor.
The view here is actually a bit lower-key in terms of looming Verdugo Mountains than at Loma Alta; and while you are tucked away, you are not as tucked away as you are at Emerald Isle or Oakmont View.
What you get at Sierra Vista Park that you can’t get anywhere else is proximity to the warehouse that stores Sierra Vista’s float for the Rose Bowl Parade. There was also a pretty iris blossoming right outside the gate.
