Howdy! I’m Mark, a writer and educator who loves playing tennis to make friends.

I recently completed a quest to play every public tennis court in Los Angeles. I support the openness of public courts. Being able to walk on and play is the kind of opportunity everyone deserves and that LA County excels at offering — as does the United States as a whole, along with Argentina and Singapore.

When I’m not playing tennis, I like to play drums, grow garlic, murmur with my wife, and write.
